The Harbour Bodega “The Bodega” (formerly Harbour Market) is a Specialty Food Store, Gourmet Deli with Homemade Food Offerings for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Additionally, The Bodega has a full line of Beer, Wine, Liquor, Water, and Soft Drinks. Opened in July 2021, The Bodega is a welcome addition to Main Street on Beaver Island. Located across from the Boat Dock, The Bodega is open Year Round. The Bodega Buddies, are ready to help you choose what to eat, what to drink, and because our concept is Grab N Go, you will be in and out of the store expeditiously so you can enjoy your day on The Emerald Isle, Beaver Island.  Island residents can rely on the Bodega for delicious and healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinners, either dine in or meals on wheels through our amazing Commission on Aging Program.

The Bodega Takes the Long Road: a night of fall fun, fabulous food and hand-crafted cocktails!

Whet your mixology skills as we welcome back Jon O’Connor & Kyle VanStrien, friends and Long Road Co-Founders, sharing their love of fine spirits from Michigan grown ingredients and inviting you to peek behind the curtain into the world of distillation.

Ever wondered how flavor is imparted into your favorite tipple? The team at Long Road will guide you through the process and the various types of gin production that produces their award-winning Michigin – a unique blend of botanicals that pulls on the flavor of Juniper, hand foraged here on our own Emerald Isle, Beaver Island!

In perfect accompaniment to your cocktail courses the Harbour Bodega is proud to serve up a paired 4-course meal that will tantalize your taste buds!

Enrollment for our Wild Foraging Masterclass is now OPEN!


- Meet at the Harbour Bodega for registration, light refreshments and a chance to acquaint yourself with your foraging companions.

-We will transport you to the trail head to begin a 2-hour hike into the forest, in search of edible fungi.

- Along the way, Gina will provide instruction and guidance on the techniques for identifying and harvesting the plentiful varieties that grow in this untouched island ecosystem. She will share her extensive knowledge of wild edibles, for their culinary and medicinal benefits, and also share stories of her love of Beaver Island’s pristine and unique environment.

- Transport back to the Bodega for summer infused mocktails and appetizers.

- Relax on the patio while Gina recaps the essential identification techniques with a visual presentation.

- Now you’ve worked up an appetite we’ll dive into cooking demonstrations using wild mushrooms and seasonal organic ingredients from our friends at Daybreak Dreamfarm in East Jordan.

- You’ll learn how to prepare, store and cook with foods you can forage from our beautiful island and across Michigan with cooking demonstrations from Chef Vicky before sampling a variety of small plates, covering all courses.

- As the perfect accompaniment to our food we will guide you through a tasting of wine and cider from Folklor Wine & Cider, based in Charlevoix while you hear a presentation on what makes growing and producing wine in Northern Michigan so special.


- A four-hour foraging and culinary journey into wild foods and wines of Michigan.

- Transportation from the Bodega to the trail and back.

- Housemade refreshments, appetizers and a variety of dishes prepared and by Chef Vicky.

- Cooking demonstrations and a full color class notes with recipes and foraging tips for you to take home.

- Wine and Cider tasting with Folklor Wine & Cider of Charlevoix.

Class will take place on Wednesday July 12th promptly at 3pm until 7pm and places are limited. Ticket price is $150 per person and can be paid on the night.

💥Weekend Special is a fully loaded Reuben with our special housemade Russian Dressing 🤌🏼 grab it before it’s gone. It goes great with a glass of ice cold, hand-squeezed lemonade!

Up first is our all-day Breakfast Burrito.

Our sausage is sourced from Ebels General Store a 6th generation family-run business in Falmouth, MI. We love their commitment to quality meats, and we know you love their sausage; because we hear you tell us every day!

Try it for yourself, we`re sure you`ll fall in love too with the special creamy White American cheese that melts on the panini press! All of our breakfast items are available all day.
