The founders of Daybreak Dreamfarm, Patrick and Kelly, are two young farmers cultivating a dream, growing faithful, honest food, and sowing seeds for a more sustainable tomorrow. They grow produce year-round, providing fresh, naturally grown goodness to our local community. Daybreak grows over 100 varieties of fruits and vegetables on their farm during the main growing season, and with the help of their hoophouses and small greenhouse they are able to extend this well into the winter months.

Co-founders Izabela and Derrick grew Folklor Wine & Cider from their love of community, of sitting around the table with a full glass and a full plate sharing stories.
At their Home Farm in Charlevoix, they’re growing cold hardy and hybrid grapes and restoring an apple and pear orchard on 52-rolling acres just a couple miles from the shores of Lake Michigan.
Before purchasing their Home Farm in 2021, they leased 5 acres of vineyards in Pellston, MI and managed private and commercial vineyards across the Tip of the Mitt AVA. The more time they spent in the vineyard, the more they developed a vision for the types of wines they wanted to produce, wines that are farmed with care and are true to the place they grow.
They follow a “vineyard first” philosophy in everything they do including their winemaking, tasting offerings and how they manage their business.

Co-Founders Kyle and Jon met over a shared commitment for the neighborhood they both call home and discovered a shared passion for fine spirits. In fact, it was over a bottle of Irish whisky that the idea for Long Road was hatched, and it was just 18 months and a few bottles of whisky later that they opened the doors to the first distillery in the history of Grand Rapids. Their mission: create world-class spirits from Michigan-grown ingredients without cutting corners. Thanks to the talented team at Long Road, and a long list of dedicated partners, Long Road continues to live out that mission day in and day out.
