Join Chef Vicky Fingeroot for an engaging 3-4 hour interactive cooking class via Zoom! You and a guest will cook together, following Chef Vicky’s step-by-step guidance to create a delicious meal from the comfort of your kitchen. Before the class, you’ll receive a detailed shopping list to gather all necessary ingredients. Plus, the day before your session, a Bodega Catering team member will connect with you on Zoom for a quick pre-class check-in to make sure you’re fully prepared and have your setup ready.

During the class, enjoy hands-on cooking and, when finished, unwind with a drink of your choice as you savor the meal you’ve crafted under Chef Vicky’s expert guidance.

  • My Bubbies’ Brisket — Join us as we recreate Chef Vicky’s cherished family recipe, “My Bubbie’s Brisket.” This class will guide you through making a fork-tender, flavor-packed brisket with an au jus that’s melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It’s the same brisket recipe that Chef Vicky served at the Harbour Bodega, where it became the star of their best-selling brisket sandwich.

    In addition to brisket, we’ll also prepare a creamy, three-cheese Cavatappi Mac and Cheese—a perfect base recipe that you can adapt for endless future dishes. And to round out the meal, we’ll roast cauliflower to bring out its natural nutty flavor, creating a versatile side that pairs perfectly with our main dishes.

  • Whitefish Piccata — In this class, we’ll prepare fresh Lake Michigan whitefish served piccata-style, honoring this beloved local treasure. Our recipe enhances the delicate flavor of the whitefish without overpowering it. We’ll also make a refreshing side salad featuring portabella mushrooms and crisp celery, dressed with a light lemon-Parmesan vinaigrette. To complete the dish, we’ll whip up a creamy vegetable risotto for a perfectly balanced and satisfying meal.
  • Italy At Home — In this class, we’ll dive into a delicious trio of dishes perfect for impressing guests or elevating a cozy night in. First, we’ll learn to make perfectly poached shrimp, poaching the shrimp enhances its flavor profile. We’ll pair the shrimp with a homemade cocktail sauce.

    Next, we’ll create handmade sweet potato gnocchi, paired with a nutty brown butter and sage sauce that highlights the gnocchi’s natural sweetness.

    Finally, we’ll master a rich and creamy pappardelle Alfredo, featuring wide, delicate noodles that are perfectly coated in a velvety sauce. This class will give you the techniques and flavors to bring restaurant-quality Italian-inspired dishes to your own kitchen.
